When the temps get around 45° and full sun he loves sitting in the sun. It keep the breezes off of him. We have not been able to close it yet, it’s a bit strong for us and will have to get the video up while we do it. We don’t want to rip it.
It beats what he’s been doing.
After staking the pod down, 10-15 mph winds were just not a problem. I sat through a 2hr+ Spring baseball game in total comfort. 40°, maybe, and I was very warm. Worth the price.
It will take me a few times to be able to set up by myself, and we did need longer, sturdier stakes, but I am pretty happy with this purchase.
Call me a crazy cat lady if you will but I bought this 2 person "bubble" as I call it for my cat and me. See Batman is a barn cat that showed up on my farm 3 years ago and he lives under my front porch but for over a year now he comes up the the porch to bed fed and to receive some love. It gets cold in the north east so I thought this might be a good place to get out of the cold while we are visiting. I put a thick foam pad in the bottom, added an outdoor heating mat and a blanket and we can both keep out of the wind, rain and snow. Instead of sand bags I used cat littler bags to keep the bubble in place. Bstmsn has willingly come in the bubble to visit:)
Very good quality. Should last for years watching baseball and football games.
It is lovely to be able to sit out in my backyard in the rain, staying perfectly dry, and listen to the patter of raindrops, as I read and knit.
