The pod itself functions as it should for wind protection. But there are few things I would recommend.
1. Instructions are absolutely terrible. Be instructions on how to set it up is highly recommended. What are the hooks in the tent for?
2. This dovetail the first recommendation. Where and how do you secure the tarp for the top? There is no instructions for this.
I managed to hook the tarp to the fabric hooks outside the tent. It does not provide water protection. My tent was flooded with rain.
3. Design recommendation: The tent doesn’t exactly pop up as it describes. The flex rods will need to be installed. There is no guided loop on the top for the rods to be centered inside the pod.
4. Design recommendation: structurally, bottom of the pod keeps collapsing inwards. It needs a flexible ring inside the pod to maintain its structural integrity.
5. Design recommendation: there is no power cable opening for the pod. I have a potable heater I would like to use inside the tent, so I will have to run the cable through the entrance or the side openings.
6. Design recommendation: the plastic odor is unbearable when you’re inside the pod. I’ve been airing out the pod for over a week and it still has the plastic smell that is unbearable.

My biggest concern when I bought this was whether or not I’d be able to fold it back up. Much to my surprise it was incredibly easy! I did it by myself in just a couple of minutes! We live in the rainy PNW and this tent was able to keep us dry in fairly heavy rain. It holds in the heat pretty well too. With the amount of comments and questions we got about the tent, we could have easily been sales reps. Lol. Even fans from the opposing baseball team came over to ask us questions. FYI, the “6 person” tent would be pretty tight if you actually tried to get 6 people in it, but we got 4 in it quite comfortably. Overall amazing product. If you EVER watch sports in the rain, you totally need this!
Great for April ball games up North. Cuts the wind and keeps you dry. Makes 50 degrees actually feel warm.
Bought this for me and my daughter after sitting out in the cold weather. Best purchase ever! Easy to assemble, and lightweight for carrying. We have used to protect us from the cold,wind and rain. Fits the two of us with extra bags and other necessary stuff for all day events. Grandma had even joined us and still had plenty of room
